ΘΕΜΑ: «XMAS cards exchange 2013/2014»

Aims of the project:

 -Celebrate Christmas and joy.

-Get to know other schools and students.

-Involve the students in a motivating, encouraging and communicative activity.

-Exchange Christmas cards.

-Promote Arts & Crafts along with students’ creativity.

Methodology:

1. Each school prepares presentations of how Christmas is celebrated in their country and also a few pictures to present their country.

2. Each school creates its 15 handmade Christmas cards. *Pictures of this process can be sent so all the children can see what’s going on in the other schools, optional.

3. Each school send by mail post its 15 Christmas cards (one Xmas card to be sent by postmail to each of the other schools participating in the project). 

4. Each school chooses a way to display all the cards received from the other schools. Pictures can be sent to the partners by email so the children can see each other!

8. Share pictures, comments and ideas through the Etwinning Space. 

Evaluation

1. Each school will receive around 15 Xmas postcards from around Europe that will be decorating the hall.

2. Promote contact with different cultures and languages.

3. Engage students in fun and easy communicative activities with real children from around Europe.

4. Celebrate Xmas in a very cheerful and exciting way.

5. Share and communicate with teachers from different countries

Tools: e-mail, Twin Space, Άλλολογισμικό (Powerpoint, βίντεο, φωτογραφίεςκαισχέδια).
